Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart was born on July 24, 1897 in Atchison, Kansas. She was a pilot a very good one too because she was the first women who did a non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. The reason she started flying was she took a ten minute plane ride she loved it right away she knew she wanted to be a pilot. Earhart took flying lessons and was the 16th women to get her flying lisson. She bought a plane a yellow one and named it “ The Canary” but, her family ran out of money so she sold her plane. In 1939 Amelia mysteriously disappeared to fly around the globe from the equator. That day was the day we predict she died January 5th, 1939.
